JJ's NOVELTIES

Collectibles Old & New

Like everyone else, I have favorite websites and would like to share them.

Shopping:

Where to find a cool lucite cane

www.coloredplastics.com

This site sells items made from electronic, including computer, circuits boards. I like the coasters and the key chain. And now they have a business card holder.

www.motherboardgifts.com

Have you checked out this site yet?  It's a market where people sell personalized items. Also, a lot of groups sell fundraising items at this site. There is a store that sells items for sweepstaking enthusiasts and one that sells non-coffee items for coffee lovers -- I think it's called Coffee Geeks.

www.cafepress.com

I know I have added links to several ecrater stores, but there are hundreds of stores that site. If you are looking for a specific items (like frog things) go to the main page ecrater page to search all the stores.

On-line selling related:

TE Tools is a site where you can make splash pages at no cost. A splash page is a quick loading page that people click on to get to your site. On traffic exchanges your webpage shows for just a few seconds. The splash page is the teaser that gets people to click and look at your website. I tried to add the link here to this website's splash page  -- it didn't work and I think that is because it was linking to itself!

Two other places where I have listed items:

www.craigslist.org

This link might take you to the Minneapolis page, but you can select your area. It's a great way to find home for items that are too heavy to mail. I have found homes for old computers, books - sometimes for free and sometimes for a small fee. You might find more expensive items listed  here than at the next site.

www.freecycle.org

Here you enter your zipcode to find the freecycle group in your area. In my town they have a yahoogroups.com forum where people can make one of three types of posts: Offer, Taken, Wanted. I have just listed a few things here.  I have seen people ask for things as simple as 3-ring notebooks. A range of items can find new homes through this service.
